I've just tried the new beta version 1.18 with the following result:

After starting MyPhotoIndex the Database was converted  (apx. 10000 images!), no message was given (made a backup

After the conversion (2 min) all data was there but the images where not found (not found image) ....

back to version 1.17, with the backup files, everything was working fine..

It looks like the conversion is not 100% yet

P.S. There is a small ungrammatical bug in the import wizard -> from disk

memually --> manually

Hi again,

I've uploaded a new version which should fix that issue.(upgrade will probably take a minute more now ).

the problem seems to be that the old image thumbnails cache(the .icf file) was not copied to it's new location.

in this version I moved the icf file to the local settings folder to increase performance for users with network drives (like me).

hope this version will resolve this issue.

I'm trying some new methods to increase performance, most of the performance issues are currently caused by the large size of the thumbnails (320 x240)

But I'm still optimizing it.
