I was wondering if it would be possible to create a calender view of all of our pictures. Not just of the last week or month, but so we can see when we have pictures from any given day or any year? I'm not really sure I'm explaining this so it makes sense...

I think I understand what you are asking for,
The Date related features are still in the process of design, I was thinking about something like a tree / folder structure grouped by Year year + month or month only.
The new search will include some date specific options as well.

Was just about to request a date/calender option maybe even to select a date range (From and To - with drop down calenders for each or a calendar you highlight your range would be nice but manually typed at first would be fine) - ideas only.
ie "I know I took that photo between mid Nov and mid Dec last year, but can't remember what category I put in (or category very large - so it probably should not clear any category selections but work within those selected (filtered) ) show me everything between 20/11/2007 and 15/12/2007"
