Thumbnail view: If the thumbnail is sized down may it stay at that reduced size versus returning to the large size when the software is reopened?

Default image source: Is it possible to have a user preference for the default drive or folder where images are located? I do not use My documents. My images are on drive D in subfolders. Rescanning the folder to include recent images requires clicking past My Pictures to My computer/drive D/ Image folder/subfolder.

Imported Keywords: The original image has keywords applied in the raw convertor (Adobe Lightroom). The keywords remain with the jpgs exported from Lightroom to a folder. I'm getting double entries when hovering over the keyword icon on the thumbnail. There are not double entries in the imported list. Its not a problem, I just wondered why this occurs on some images.

Imported Keyword List when Adding: This pop out list has excessive space. Is there a way of closing up the space between each keyword in the list?

I searched for a couple of days for an indexer such as this to use on the jpgs. Lightroom does a fine job with the original dng and any editted tif but I don't have the jpgs within Lightroom catalog. This photo index operates very similar to the Lightroom keyword filter.  I only scanned jpg folders with Photo index and it appears to be a great search and organize tool.

Hi,

The size of the thumbnails(zoom level) should be saved when existing the application, If it's not then there is something wrong, I'll check it again to see if there is any bug in this area.

The default image source will be handled in the next version(already available in the Beta version)

Will it be possible for you to send me one image which has the "duplicate tag" issue? maybe it's a problem with the importer duplicating the tag names. you can send it to admin@myphotoindex.com

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "Imported Keyword List" can you please explain?

Thank you for the feedback

Asaf

Re: Imported Keyword List

When I right click on a thumbnail to add a keyword . My existing (imbedded)keywords are a list choice. When the jpgs were imported they included the keywords which originated in Lightroom. Its a long list since the style in Lightroom is to apply several keywords.  This pop up list that results in the PhotoIndex/ Add/Remove right click has big spacing between the items  on the Import List so the list goes off screen requiring scrolling.

My work around is to check if there is a keyword that should be there or should not be there and I'm dragging a keyword onto the thumbnail

Send you an image: Hmmm...is it a thumbnail that I attach to an e-mail. I cannot locate a way of sending a thumbnail. Using copy gives the original jpg.  It didn't happen in every import. Perhaps I typed in the same text for the import tag. Its not a major issue since the majority of users likely will not have keywords imbedded in their imported jpgs.
