First day within Photo Index and I've visited the online help.

I assumed its not a 'live scan' so if I add more jpgs to specific folders then Photo Index must scan those folders again to import the new additions.

Since I had added 3 to the existing group in a folder then I unchecked the previously imported images when Photo Index displayed all the images within that folder.  I didn't think it necessary to add a specific key word tag to these 3 additional images.

Is this above procedure the expected or correct method when adding more images from a specific subfolder on the hard drive?
