Hi, hoping you can help me work out how to group files in a certain way.
Your software interface is the most efficient I have worked with and I hope it can be of use for my cataloguing.
I have a range of images which are in four sizes as the images have been taken at different times and saved as different sizes. I hope I can explain this clearly. The files are:
Size A files - Extra Large
20 unique 'extra large' images
Size B files - Large
30 unique 'large' images, plus a version of the 20 'extra large' images downsized to Size B. There are therefore 50 Size B files.
Size C files - Medium
30 unique 'medium' images, plus a version of the 20 'extra large' images downsized to size C, and a version of the 30 unique 'large' files downsized to Size C. There are therefore 80 Size C files.
Size D files - Small
There are 40 unique 'small' images, plus a version of the 20 'extra large' images downsized to size D, and a version of the 30 'large' files downsized to size D, and a version of the 30 'medium' images downsized to size D. There are therefore 120 size D files.
I want to be able to show thumbnails of all size D files and somehow make it possible when viewing the thumbnail to see what size the image is available in (ie.. is it just a size D file, or is it also available in Size C and/or B etc).
I suspect this may be able to be done through Image versions, but cannot work out how to group the existing, already pre-sized and named files.
Hope you can help
PS - everytime I open the software I get told there is a new version available even after I have clicked to update
