Actually MyPhotoIndex started with a full U3 version. you still need the .NET framework on the host machine but both data and settings were stored on the U3 DOK (Disk on Key)

The U3 version is not currently maintained(it was not widely adopted) , but if there is a demand for it I can make it available again.
